Why Book in the ASBMR Housing Block?
Booking your reservation outside of the ASBMR block of rooms via internet travel sites or by not mentioning to the reservationists that you are with ASBMR has a long-term negative impact on the ASBMR meeting. The amount of rooms that ASBMR can attribute as reserved by ASBMR attendees helps us to negotiate rates with the city's meeting facilities. With fewer rooms directly attributable to ASBMR, convention center rental rates will rise which may impact the rates ASBMR can charge for meeting registration. Additionally, hotels have started to place financial penalties on associations for each room not used by our attendees. We appreciate you supporting ASBMR by booking hotel rooms within our official block.
Group Housing (5 or more rooms)
ASBMR has special group housing forms/reservation processes available to those groups requiring 5 or more hotel rooms during the ASBMR 2010 Annual Meeting. To block rooms for groups of 5 or more people coming from the United States, please contact Jessica Tibbetts at jtibbetts@asbmr.org.

Individual Housing (4 rooms or fewer)
ASBMR has contracted with four Toronto Hotels to provide housing for attendees of the ASBMR 2010 Annual Meeting. To block housing in these official hotels for four rooms or fewer, please visit our Housing Bureau's Website to determine the hotel availability.
Student Housing Discounts
If you registered as a resident, student or fellow, you are eligible for discounted housing while supplies last. To receive the discount, use the access code found in your registration confirmation letter when you book your hotel.
Roommate Matching Forum

The Fairmont Royal York (Headquarter Hotel)
The Fairmont Royal York is located 2 blocks from the Metro Toronto Convention Centre and is the headquarter hotel for the ASBMR 2010 Annual Meeting.
